WOW! What can I say besides absolutely unreal. From the time we got on the boat till the time we got off- an absolute 10/10 experience. Not only does Alex have this down to a science— you are completely safe out there with him and his crew! We all love to see wildlife & enjoy them at their natural state, that’s exactly what this is. Nothing is forced. A LARGE bonus for this experience is you will see them clean up trash along the way. I don’t even have to explain to anyone how great that is. As far as animals seen that day- jellyfish, turtles, flying fish, BULL SHARKS & a GREAT HAMMER HEAD and tons of fish species. Absolutely AMAZING. Thank you again Alex and crew, can’t wait to get back in.

What an unparalleled & unforgettable experience. I have had the privilege of being on two Xela Expedition excursions now: once for the Bahamas expedition he offers part of the year and once in Palm Beach Florida where they operate their year-round shark dives. And each time was equally magical. Alex (the owner) is incredibly knowledgeable, and him and his crew go above and beyond to ensure safety while prioritizing an extraordinary experience for guests. And extraordinary it is! I’m almost at a loss for words writing this review because the experience of being with sharks in their own, natural habitat is pretty inexplicable. For my dive in FL, Alex lured in a large female hammerhead that stuck around for hours, and we got to see the honed expertise and art that is Xela Expeditions. If you haven’t gone, go. If you have gone, keep going. If your friends think you’re out of your mind for wanting to dive with sharks, go anyway. It’s an experience unlike any other, and I don’t exaggerate when I say I plan to go every time I come back to FL.

Absolutely incredible. I have always been terrified of sharks, constantly worrying about them while swimming or surfing in the ocean. A friend pushed me to meet Alex and see these beautiful creatures for all that they are not just the dangerous animal they are almost always portrayed as. And I did it! And I have to say, it was one of the most incredible, exhilarating experiences I have ever had. You can tell how excited and passionate alex is about what he does and what he gets to show people, which only excites you more as the one experiencing it for the first time. The scene and environment that Alex has created for his shark diving expeditions is one that you will never forget!!

I did my first shark diving tour with XELA Expeditions in March where I had the most amazing trip: I saw not 1 but 2 Great Hammerheads at the same exact time! Then I trekked on the adventure of a lifetime to the Bahamas with XELA! A trip that changed my life: I swam with dolphins while they hunted snapper, watched a SpaceX rocket launch while checking out sharks at night, dove an untouched blue hole where I saw underwater stalactites and stalagmites, and much much more! Since then I’ve gone on even more exciting shark diving trips including a night dive which was the most magical experience! I am already planning on going on more night dives soon and will definitely join for another Bahamas trip. Captain Alex is extremely professional and always keeps the safety of his clients first. He takes the time to chat with everyone and thoroughly answers any questions (which from my experience helps soothe the nerves of a first time shark diver). I highly recommend joining for an adventure. A trip with XELA Expeditions will be one you won’t forget!
